The village is surrounded by the Kogelberg Biosphere. The Biosphere creates a sanctuary from hurried city-life where you will experience ocean & mountains, fauna & flora, while surrounded by the calming ocean waves.

Roxvilla, an absolute GEM of a find!
Nestled below Klein-Hangklip, straddling both Overberg Dune Strandveld Fynbos and Kogelberg Sandstone Fynbos with spectacular unspoiled and unobstructed views of Container Bay.
Roxvilla’s Hostess, Jackie is flawless! Jackie interviewed us ahead of our visit in regards to our expectations that covered our sightseeing, gastronomic and wine tasting – South African Cape adventure. We totally left our itinerary up to Jackie and she over delivered. Entrusting Jackie was our best decision.
The highlight of our stay was to have a meal with a specific locally farmed product. Abalone was what we requested and the Chef prepared the Abalone in traditional Cape style as well as the Chef’s “poetic license” which was a cross over Asian fusion influence from our home base. OUTSTANDING.
Roxvilla is a very comfortable and clean home. Both Jackie and her trusty chocolate retriever Duke welcomed us and made us feel very relaxed after a long-haul flight. The photos of Roxvilla do not do it justice, you need to be there to live, breath and feel the experience.
Jackie has created a wonderfully unique experience and we loved our stay at Roxvilla.
